Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium ripe banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup nonfat milk (or plant-based alternative)
- 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar (or natural sweetener)
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ to 1 cup ice (optional)
- Optional: 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder
Instructions
- Chill the banana in the freezer for 30 minutes if not already frozen.
- Add nonfat milk to the bottom of your blender.
- Layer frozen strawberries and banana on top.
- Add turbinado sugar and vanilla extract.
- Include ice based on preferred thickness and blender power.
- Blend from low to high speed for 45–60 seconds until smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness, texture, or thickness as desired.
Notes
To make it dairy-free, use almond or oat milk. For a sugar-free version, substitute turbinado with stevia or monk fruit. Great for post-workout or a quick breakfast!
